Welcome to Paul Levy!

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to welcome Paul Levy to my bloggers' list. I have decided to add him, due to the fact that almost half of those on my current list had abandoned their blogs, or are inaccessible.

Who is Paul Levy? I got this from
BusinessWeek:

Paul F. Levy, age 57, was named in 2002 as President & CEO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, one of the nation's top-ranked hospitals. Formerly executive dean of administration at Harvard Medical Center, Levy, a long-time administrator, is the only non-physician to head a major Harvard-affiliated academic hospital. Levy holds bachelor's degrees in economics and urban studies, and a master's in city planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a longtime proponent of openness of information in the health-care sector, and is one of the few CEOs of a major hospital to write his own blog.

How cool is that? And just how did I discover his blog? Thanks to Blogger's
Blogs of Note. His blog was listed in the blogs of note for August 2008. And I was really attracted to the way he pen his thoughts and ideas, and also the fact that he is in healthcare, and hospital administration. For those of you who are new here, I am a nutritionist in Wyeth, and my fiancee is a resident physician in the Department of Neurology in the University of Missouri, Columbia Healthcare. I will definitely learn much from his blog and also improve in my writing... heh heh heh... Learning from books is one thing, but learning from someone's blog is totally a different ball game.

And, definitely not "coincidentally", my fiancee is planning to go to his hospital sometime in the near future! Wow! Hmmm... God works in mysterious and creative ways! Praise God!

Cheers and have a great week ahead friends! Here's something funny I saw on Paul's blog... LOL
